Easy elegant breakfast to embrace the chef inside you. Mini brioche bun, philadelphia, cucumber, smoked salmon and onion pickles is perfect for a summer morning. Let’s make it!
Smoked Salmon Brioche
Ingredients
- 250 gr smoked salmon
- 2 mini brioche buns
- ½ cucumber slices
- 4 tbsp onion pickles
- 4 tbsp cream cheese
Pickles
- 1 onion slices
- 400 ml water
- 400 ml white wine vinegar
- 75 gr sugar
- 2 tbsp salt
Instructions
- Start by making the onion pickle by thinly slice the onions and put them in a medium jar. Heat the vinegar, water, sugar, and salt in a pan over medium heat. Stir until the sugar and salt dissolve, about 1 minute. Let cool and pour over the onions. Add some pepper in there too.
- Your pickled onions will be ready to eat once they're bright pink and tender.(about 1 hour for very thinly sliced onions).
- That was all the tricky part! Now just cut the buns in half, so that you have 4 mini brioches. Spread cream cheese on them, cucumber slices, smoked salmon and top with your homade onion pickles!
- Easy and fresh breakfast served !
