Kayana
Coming straight from the village life, a traditional greek dish. Tomato scrambled eggs and sausage topped with feta cheese and oregano. Let’s cook!
Kayana Scarmbled
Ingredients
- 4 eggs
- 200 gr sausage in slices
- 100 gr feta cheese
- 2 tbsp tomato juice
- 1 tbsp milk
- 1 pinch salt
- 1 pinch pepper
- 1 pinch oregano
Instructions
- Get a pan and preheat it at medium-low heat. Add the sausage in slices and cook until golden and fat oil comes out.
- Meanwhile add the eggs in bowl, 1 tbsp milk, 2 tbsp tomato juice salt and pepper and whisk.
- Add the mixture in the pan and start whisking so that the eggs cook evenly.You dont want them to cook and get dry, you want a smooth creamy result. Add sausage back in and serve immediately.
- Top with feta grated feta cheese and oregano.
