Sausage and Peppers

A traditional Greek dish for a cold winter. Sausage bites, peppers, tomato sauce and hot bread is all you need. Super fast and effortless dish. Let’s make it!

Ingredients
  

  • 500 gr sausage with spicy filling
  • 5 peppers
  • 1 onion diced
  • 330 ml tomato juice
  • 100 ml water
  • 1 pinch chilli pepper flakes
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 pinch pepper

Instructions
 

  • Cut the sausage in small bites. Get a pan and add it in. Cook in medium high heat untill it's golden and oil fat is on the pan.
  • While the sausage is cooking cut the peppers in thick slices and dice the onion.
  • Remove sausage from the pan to a bowl. Add the peppers in and cook untill they start to become soft. Add the sausage back in and top it all with the tomato sauce. Add salt, pepper,chilli pepper flakes and water. Let it cook for 15 minutes in medium heat.
  • You want a thick result not a soup so if at 15 minutes you still got plenty of liquids just let it cook for a couple more minutes.
