Fish o Filet
Mc Donald's Filet o Fish easy made at home!
Equipment

Ingredients
Tartar Sauce
- 2 tbsp mayo
- 20 gr pickles diced
- 20 gr onion diced
- 10 gr dill finely cut
- 5 gr caper finely cut
- ½ lemon juice
- 1 pinch salt
Burger Igredients
- 1 Cod fish filet Large
- 3 Brioche Buns (optional)
- 3 slices cheddar cheese
Beer Butter
- 200 gr all purpose flour
- 100 gr corn flour
- 330 ml beer
- 1 tbsp garlic powder
- 1 tbsp onion powder
- 1 tbsp sweet paprika
- 1 pinch salt
- 1 pinch pepper
Instructions
- Start by adding all the sauce igredients in a bowl and mix well till they combine .Let it rest untill burger assembling.
- Preheat your frying oil at medium-high heat. About 160℃.
- Cut your cod fish filet in 3 equal pieces. In a tray spread some all purpose flour and add them in. Flip them untill they are fully covered in flour.
- In a large bowl add all the beer butter igredients and whisk untill smooth. Take on piece of cod from the flour tray, deep it in the beer butter and then into the frying oil. Repeat the process for all pieces.
- Fry untill golden, then remove on an oven rack so that they remain crispy while resting.
- Cut your buns and spread mayo on the inside. Then toast them in a pan at medium heat. Mayo will help them to caramelize and have a beautiful golden crust.
- Add the cheddar slice right after toasting the bun so that it will start to melt. Top that with the fish filet and large amount of tartar sauce.
