Toasted bread,ham slice, poached eggs and creamy hollandaise sauce. A perfect way to start the morning.Let’s master the must breakfast.
Eggs Benedict
Ingredients
- 2 eggs
- 2 tbsp hollandaise sauce
- 1 slice bread toasted
- 1 slice ham
- 2 tbsp white wine vinegar
Instructions
- Start by preparing the hollandaise sauce.
- Get a pot, add water, salt and white wine vinegar. Get it to boil
- When water is boiling get a whisk and start whisking untill you create a "tornado".
- Crack the eggs just in the centre of the tornado and let them cook for 1 min. The speed of the water will make the egg-whites to "hug" the egg yolk and the vinegar will help the whites to stay stuck on the yolk.
- While they cook toast a slice of bread
- With a spider spatula remoce the eggs to a paper towel to get rid of the water.
- Toast bread in plate, add the ham and the eggs. Then top with the hollandaise sauce and herbs of your choice. Good morning!
