Croque Madame

We are talking about the Queen of breakfasts! Toasted bread, bacon, cheese, bechamel sauce and sunny side up egg! This is just pure heaven!

Ingredients
  

  • 2 slices bread
  • 1 slice cheese of choice
  • 2 stripes bacon
  • 1 egg

Bechamel Sauce

  • 10 gr flour
  • 10 gr butter
  • 100 ml milk
  • 10 gr grated parmesan
  • 1 pinch nutmeg

Instructions
 

Bechamel

  • Get a pan add the butter and cook in medium heat untill melted.
  • Add the flour and whisk till they combine and they form a roux. (like a dough)
  • Add the milk and whisk untill all the igredients are combined. Add cheese and nutmeg.
  • Cook untill a thick creamy sauce.

Sandwich

  • Preheat oven at 200℃
  • Get a pan and cook 2 stripes of bacon untill golden.
  • Remove the bacon from the pan. Form the sandwich and spread butter all over it.
  • Slow cook in the pan untill cheese is melted. Top the sandwich with bechamel sauce and transfer it to an a small oven pan.
  • Bake about 5 minutes at 200℃ or untill the sauce is golden.
  • Meanwhile crack an egg in the pan and cook to perfection!
  • Remove the sandwich from the pan and add the egg on top.
  • Season it and serve!
