Croque Madame
For most europe countries Croque Madame represents breakfast! Easy to make and so tasty. Gets you full to start the day.
Croque Madame
Ingredients
- 3 slices bread
- 2 slices ham
- 2 slices cheese
- 100 gr butter melted
- 2-3 tbsp bechamel sauce
- 1 egg
- 2 tbsp mustard (dijon)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven at 220°C.
- Get a pan at medium heat.
- Take 2 slices of bread and spread 1 tbsp of mustard at each. Add 1 slice of ham and 1 slice of cheese at each. Put one on top of another. Close the sandwich with the 3rd slice.
- With a brush get the melted butter all over around it.
- Cook in the pan for 2 min each side. (Must get crispy)
- Remove from the pan and get your sandwich in an oven an with baking sheet. Add 2-3 tbsp of bechamel sauce on top of it and some grated parmesan.
- Bake for 10 min or untill your sauce starts to get brown.
- Cook a sunny-side up egg for topping before serving.
